Welcome to the Onslow Youth Lacrosse Registration Page!

OYLA is a non-profit club. Our registration fees are based on the costs the club incurs throughout the season for game and practice equipment, official fees, and website maintenance.

Please complete the registration form for each player in your family.  US Lacrosse Membership is required to participate for insurance purposes.  Please ensure your US Lacrosse Membership is updated and current so your player is covered through the end of each season.  In this case, your US Lacrosse Membership needs to cover your player through the end of June 2023.

All players are required to register in their appropriate age group.  If there are not enough players registered for each age group, teams will be established according to US Lacrosse rules.

**NOTE**  Age group reflects the maximum age of a player during the playing year.  For example, 12U means that players 12 years and under are eligible; however, players must be 11 years old on 31 August, 2022.  US Lacrosse Youth Rules are used for all play 14U and below.(www.uslacrosse.org)

 

 

Refund Policy

  1. All refunds are subject to a $25 processing fee.
     
  2. Full refunds minus $25 processing fee will be given 15 days prior to the start of the program or clinic.
     
  3. Any refunds within 15 days of the start of a program or clinic will be refunded 50% minus the $25 refund charge.
     
  4. Refunds are NOT provided because families cannot, or will not, accommodate their schedules to Onslow Youth Lacrosse Association programs or clinics and refunds are not provided because the league will not accommodate a specific coach/team request or car pool request, except within the dates and/or the amounts shown in the guidelines above.
     
  5. No refunds will be given after the start of any program or clinic unless extenuating circumstances (such as injury or illness) are cleared by the Board of Directors.
     
  6. Refunds may be issued if OYLA cancels any programs or clinics. However, refunds will not be given due to weather related cancelations.
     
  7. IF OYLA has loaned equipment or uniforms no refund will be given until equipment or uniform has been returned.
Spring 2023 OYLA COED 6U

The 6U program will be coed to teach basic lacrosse skills.The foundation of this team is fun, sportmanship and teamwork while playing lacrosse.  This team will scrimmage themselves on home game Saturdays and have the opportunity to travel once or twice with other clubs in the league that have a 6U team.  Players are required to have a mouth guard, a lacrosse Stick (fiddle sticks are okay), and sneakers or cleats. Sticks will be available to the players that do not have one. Lacrosse gloves are optional. This team does not play in the end of the season tournament.

The Boy's 8U team will practice at least twice a week starting the first week of February and have games on Saturday's (beginning in March 2023). The season will end in May 2023.
